SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA // 31 August 2016: Employsure, Australia’s leading workplace relations specialist, has today been listed as one of the country’s top 25 Best Places to Work 2016 by Great Places to Work.

Employsure, which began in 2011, has experienced strong growth in the past five years and has cemented its place as Australia’s leading provider of employment relations and work health and safety solutions, receiving over 2,800 client advice calls per week, with almost 400 employees and over 10,500 clients.

Its place on the 2016 Best Places to Work List comes off the back of Employsure being named in the top 15 of BRW’s 2016 Most Innovative Companies List, placing 13th.

Employsure’s unique performance equation is testament to the focus it places on ensuring it is one of the best places to work. The equation, performance = capabilities x values2, ensures that staff are constantly empowered and company values remain at the centre of everything. By removing the focus of performance from being centred on capabilities, Employsure has seen an increase in staff satisfaction, retention and ultimately, an increase in overall business results.

Edward Mallet, Managing Director, Employsure, says: “We are committed to providing our employees with a workplace they can be proud to be a part of. Having seen firsthand the impact culture can have on team morale and performance, we recognise its pivotal nature.

“A cookie cutter approach to work and culture simply will not cut it in the age of innovation and start-ups. By embedding innovation at the core of our work, we are able to create a unique work environment for our team along with personalised and tailored solutions to suit each client.”

A strong example of this innovative outlook is Employsure’s radical approach to democratising the way professional services are accessed. The model, which was introduced to the Australian market by Employsure, provides clients with access to unlimited and immediate solutions, day or night, as well as insurance and representation on a fixed fee contract as opposed to the traditional fee for service model.

Edward continues: “We entered the Australian marketplace in 2011 with a clear view that the age old traditional fee for service model of workplace consulting was not going to work.

“Our aim is to have a profoundly positive effect on Australian businesses by creating fairness and safety at all levels. And we are committed to this. In the last year, our team, which is based nationwide, travelled over 1.5 million kilometres to see our clients.

“We see a future in which every business has access to the tools to be brilliant at what they do, supported by strong foundations that start with a fair and safe workplace.”
